Hand crafted ropes for your entertainment. Our "standard length" ropes are between 11 and 12 yards long (32 to 36 feet). Longer ropes can be made on special order, but they are much more expensive, and availability depends heavily on the weather.
"Butter likes it!"
We make our ropes out of a variety of yarns and twines. Most are available in a variety of colors, although we do NOT dye them. Many of our ropes are a bit stretchy, compared to commercially-made jute and hemp.

Gateway Ropes™
Our most luxurious ropes, the "Gateway" ropes are 100% nylon, and have a soft, velvety texture. They come in a variety of beautiful colors. You have to feel them to believe how soft they are!
Cotton
Our cotton ropes are twisted from worsted yarn, and are available in white and beige/off-white. They have a slick, almost silky feel, and a surprising "bite."
Acrylic
The acrylic ropes have a rough texture, similar to jute, and make a good substitute for people allergic to natural fibers.
Jute
We have not found a source for good quality jute twine cheap enough for us to offer jute ropes at competitive prices. We'd be happy to discuss special orders, but can not compete with the prices of commercially-manufactured jute.
Hemp
We are currently experimenting with sources of hemp fiber that could produce rope comparable to that available commercially. If you must have natural hemp rope, we suggest Twisted Monk, Erotic Hemp, or Ecolution.
Weird Ropes
We occasionally pick up some yarn and say, "I wonder how this would look as a rope?" Look here for such experiments. You never know what you might find.
Custom Ropes
Yes, we make custom, special order ropes, up to 100' long. Contact us for estimates and availablility.
